Hollow Balls:
Hollow Balls are used in applications where either flotation or weight savings are required. In vent valves or overflow valves, hollow balls are required to float in a liquid and seal against a seat when the liquid rises to a predetermined level. Ball Transfer Units:
Ball Transfer Units are used primarily in aircraft transport cargo rolling decks. They can be used in other conveying applications. Ball transfer units rolling elements can be either hollow balls or standard balls. Hollow balls provide high static and dynamic load capabilities with a minimum of weight. Solid or standard balls are used in high load areas where weight limitations are not a concern.
