Tantalum Balls

Uses:
Tantalum balls are used for corrosive applications in pumps, electronic components, chemical equipment nuclear reactors and valve components. Because of their unique specific gravity of 16.6, tantalum balls are used in flowmeters. Tantalum balls are used as markers for medical procedures. online contact form

M-50 High Speed Steel Balls

Uses:
M-50 balls have found wide application in the bearing and missile field for bearing components, and for bearings in aircraft gas turbine engines which must retain high wear resistance and strength up to 800ºF. ITI is capable of producing M-50 balls to AMS 6491, with heat treat to AMS 2759, which meet the requirements of DFARS 7014 and DFARS 7016. ITI is also capable of eddy current testing M-50 balls and etch testing to MIL-STD-867. online contact form

Brass Balls

Uses:
Brass balls are used in corrosion resistant applications of salt water and marine environments. Brass balls are also resistant to dry gases, petroleum products and alchohols. online contact form

Aluminum Bronze Balls

Uses:
Aluminum Bronze balls are used in valve ball and pump applications requiring high strength, hardness and corrosion resistance to hot concentrated caustic as well as brine solutions. online contact form

Cobalt Balls

Uses:
Cobalt balls are used in wear and high temperature applications, particularly where lubrication is marginal. ITI is capable of manufacturing cobalt balls in several alloys. There are many trade names used for different alloys and often cobalt balls are referred to as Stellite balls Haynes balls, or Rexalloy balls. The different alloy compositions are used for applications in valves, ball and seat, regulators, bearings and ball screws in many industries including petroleum and nuclear. online contact form

Copper Balls

Uses:
Copper has great electrical and heat conductivity and is sensitive to corrosion from a variety of agents. It is a relatively soft metal. Copper balls should not be used where exposure to corrosive agents or used wher high mechanical pressure are factors. online contact form
